About the event
Woodland Artists
Create, arrange, design, and wonder in the Pine Wood Classroom! During Woodland Artists, children are invited to use leaves, bark, sticks, stones, pine needles, flowers, and other natural materials to explore color, texture, shape, and creativity outdoors.
Families can enjoy open-ended art invitations throughout the Pine Wood Classroom and nearby nature stations, along with a short circle and outdoor story time. This play day is all about process art, sensory noticing, creativity, storytelling, and joyful expression in nature.
Registration: Children ages 3–6.
Cost: $3 per registered child. Accompanying adults and younger siblings are free. Currently enrolled Creekside families may attend at no cost. Younger siblings may accompany their caregiver, but activities and materials are planned for preschool-aged children. Caregivers are responsible for supervising all children they bring.
