Our Community

Our community is centered on children’s enrichment, but it extends far beyond that. At Creekside, we believe children learn and thrive best when supported by the secure, nurturing bond they share with their parents, who are their primary teachers. Educated professionals play a vital role as guides and supporters, but the foundation of learning begins at home. With this philosophy, we see ourselves as facilitators and curators of learning experiences, creating regular opportunities for caregivers to engage actively in the program. Together, families come to support one another, deepen connections, and enjoy meaningful time in community.

Weekly Gatherings

Primary caregivers take part in one scheduled gathering each month. These planned visits are an essential part of our cooperative model and are scheduled in advance at registration, making it easy to plan ahead and fully engage in your child’s learning journey. Your presence not only enriches your child’s experience but also strengthens our community, helping us create a nurturing, connected environment where every family belongs. During these gatherings, caregivers support activities and help maintain a safe, welcoming space—contributing in meaningful ways that benefit all children and families. All participating adults are subject to a background check upon registration. If your family has dynamic childcare demands, grandparents and other caregivers may substitute with an approved background check as well.

Monthly Family Learning Opportunities

As part of our cooperative model, Creekside hosts a monthly Friday gathering where a guest professional joins us to share insight rooted in child development and early learning. These sessions are designed for the whole family — parents and children learn side by side through conversation, hands-on exploration, and shared reflection. Siblings are welcome, and families are invited to help shape these gatherings by suggesting topics, sharing their own skills, or lending a hand with planning or setup. Together, we create a vibrant, supportive learning community.

Seasonal Family Events

Throughout the year, we host seasonal family gatherings that celebrate the transitions from summer to fall, fall to winter, and winter to spring. These events invite you to slow down and delight in the sights and sounds of nature’s changing rhythms. Families are invited to play together, create nature-inspired crafts, and enjoy time in community. These gatherings offer meaningful opportunities to connect with like-minded families and build lasting relationships.
