Summer Solstice Celebration

Celebrate sunshine, shadows, warmth, and summer beauty in the Pine Wood Classroom! During Summer Solstice Celebration, children are invited to notice the long, bright days of summer through open-ended nature play, movement, flower and leaf creations, shadow noticing, and joyful seasonal exploration.

Families can enjoy sun-inspired play throughout the Pine Wood Classroom and nearby nature stations, along with a short circle time and a 15-minute outdoor story time. This play day is all about light, warmth, movement, beauty, seasonal noticing, and celebrating summer.

Registration: Children ages 3–6.

Cost: $3 per registered child. Accompanying adults and younger siblings are free. Currently enrolled Creekside families may attend at no cost. Younger siblings may accompany their caregiver, but activities and materials are planned for preschool-aged children. Caregivers are responsible for supervising all children they bring.
