Join Creekside Nature Unschool for a beautiful spring morning exploring the woods and fields of Dickson Valley Camp! We are welcoming guest biologist Karen Davis from the University of Illinois Extension, who will guide families on a spring hike to find and identify early wildflowers and plants throughout the property.
Children and parents will work together on a spring wildflower and plant scavenger hunt, learning how to observe and recognize some of the first flowers of the season in the Fox River Valley. This joyful all-ages family event encourages curiosity, nature observation, and time spent exploring outdoors together.
Meeting Location: Please meet at the covered entrance of the main parking area at Dickson Valley Camp. From there, we will begin our guided hike together.
