Monarch Butterfly Migration

Each fall, monarch butterflies begin an incredible journey south—and this September, we’ll explore their migration together at Creekside.

Families will gather in the Pine Wood Classroom for a Monarch Migration Family Learning Event designed especially for young children. Through a story and an interactive demonstration, children will discover where monarchs are going, how far they travel, and why this seasonal journey is so remarkable. We’ll finish our morning with a butterfly craft for children to create and take home.

This event is designed for young children and their families to learn, explore, and experience nature together.

Registration: Children ages 3 and up.

Cost: $3 per registered child. Accompanying adults and younger siblings under 3 are free. Currently enrolled Creekside families may attend at no cost.
