About the event
Little Weather Watchers
Come look up, listen, move, and notice in the Pine Wood Classroom! During Little Weather Watchers, children are invited to explore wind, clouds, sunshine, shadows, temperature, and the way weather feels on their bodies.
Families can enjoy open-ended play throughout the Pine Wood Classroom and nearby nature stations, along with a short circle time and a 15-minute outdoor story time. This play day is all about sensory noticing, movement, weather play, seasonal awareness, and joyful outdoor discovery.
Registration: Children ages 3–6.
Cost: $3 per registered child. Accompanying adults and younger siblings are free. Currently enrolled Creekside families may attend at no cost. Younger siblings may accompany their caregiver, but activities and materials are planned for preschool-aged children. Caregivers are responsible for supervising all children they bring.
